incorporating the creation and development of
character toy concepts the ownership of
intellectual property rights and the international
licensing of character and corporate brand
merchandise. The Group's brands are used
mainley by manufacturers and distributors in the
UK and Australia.

Why we bought the share

If sufficient funds are available I would like to propose investing in
Just Group (JUS).

Just Group own the 'intellectual' rights to a number of childrens
characters - Butt-Ugly Martians (BUMS), Pinky and Perky, Macdonalds
Farm and Star Hill Ponies. It's most recent success is with the
Jellabies (voiced by Rik Mayall) which is currently broadcast on GMTV
and on the Fox Family Channel and is aimed at pre-school children.
They have also acquired the rights to develop TV programs from Roald
Dahl's children's stories including 'The Giraffe, The Pelly and Me'!

Fiscal earnings to 30 April 2000 increased significantly and the
company broke even. Brokers forecasts for 2001 are for a profit of
£2.34m with EPS at 0.22p and £5.475m / 0.52p for 2002.

Big things are expected for BUMS for whom a deal has recently been
signed with ITV and they intend to push the merchandising side. They
are also planning on re-launching Pinky and Perky!


Just Group shares peaked a few months back at around 16.5p when their
brokers, Teather and Greenwood, issued a Buy recommendation with a
target price of around 23p. They have since drifted back to there
current price of around 9.5p where there appears to be strong signs of
a support level.


I believe the shares are well worth a flutter at this price.


My proposal is to invest £500 with a recommendation to sell half
should the price reach 20p.
