The Club - Was formed in April 1999 with 13 members, the majority of whom work together in Sheffield. Since then we have had a few leave and a few more join making our current total 11 members.

The idea for the investment club came from one of the founder members after some success in dealing with the penny share Lionheart. This raised interest in the office and after contact with Proshare, the organisation whos aim it is to promote private share ownership in the UK, we held an initial meeting on 14 April 1999.

Following this the share club was formed and our first 'real' meeting was held on 28th April 1999. We now meet on the first Wednesday in the month at lunch time in Sheffield.
